June has been a busy month.
With the inaugural issue of Fear in Dust launching mid-July, David has been busy reading, making selection decisions, and preparing the layout and design for printing. His hope is that Fear in Dust will provide another needed outlet for horror poetry and increase awareness and readership for the same. Fittingly, the theme for the first issue is Ghosts as it will be haunted by all of the incredible submissions that were received but not able to be included.
In addition to working in his editorial role for Fear in Dust, he was a virtual attendant at StokerCon 2026 and has continued to focus on writing and submitting work for publication. This month marks the first official acceptance and publication.

Finally, David read "Angel Down" by Daniel Kraus and recommends you do the same. As the best of horror fiction can do, it picks you up, shakes you, and sets you back down a changed person in a changed world.
Stay tuned for updates.
